President Biden has just announced that he will be seeking re-election in 2024. However, Vice President, Kamala Harris will not be joining him on the ticket.
Sources in the White House say that the reason for the change is that in an effort to connect better with voters, they have selected a running mate who is more similar to the Democratic base. Replacing Vice President Harris on the ticket will be Democratic Senator, John Fetterman of Pennsylvania.
However, although Vice President Harris will no longer be serving as Vice President, she is not leaving the administration completely. Sources close to the Vice President state that she has agreed to stay to continue her work on the Southern Border.
